St. Elizabeth's, 187th and Broadway, NYC, 1936 - 1992. Photo of St. Elizabeth's School (convent on 4th and 5th floors).The original building burned down in 1947. The diocese got three school buses and used  an empty school building (Most Blessed Sacrament Parish on 125th Street) for three years. The current site was completed at 187th St. between Wadsworth Avenue and St. Nicholas Avenue and reopened during late Fall 1950.
