St. Leonards - Mayfield, Mayfield, Sussex, England. Originally Mayfield School of the Holy Child. Tapestry rug designed by Pugin and stitched for Cornelia by SHCJ sisters for aisle of Mayfield Chapel. Stitched in panels then joined; originally ran entire length of chapel. Writing on border speaks of hidden God and delighting in him day and night. |
