6 ft. 6 in. Oil painting of St. Ignatius Loyola done by Cornelia while in Rome; based on sketch by Edward von Steinle; was part of proposed triptych of the Nativity. "She then had reason to think she would not be permitted to rejoin her society again. In the event, Fransoni sent her back to St. Leonards where the picture remained until tranferred to Hastings in 1976. The other two panels were never painted."
